An Integrative Approach to Practicing Medicine
If you’ve read in the mainstream media lately about studies disproving the effectiveness of multivitamins, I encourage you to read the attached article written by Mike Adams, The Health Ranger. He does an excellent job debunking these misleading stories.
The vitamins that were chosen for these studies were low grade vitamins, and the results were attributed to all multivitamins, regardless of what grade they were. The good news is that there are sources for high-quality, pharmaceutical grade nutritional supplements. At our pharmacy, that is the grade of supplement we carry.
The most important take away is that not all nutritional supplements are created equal. I touched on this in a recent post titled Do You Need Nutritional Supplements?
So don’t be misled by biased articles about studies funded by Big Pharma. Read this article for the other side of the story.
