An Integrative Approach to Practicing Medicine
This is such a simple and powerful way to change your life! We can all take these small steps to create a more positive brain and hopefully make the world around us a better place at the same time. We can all start by looking for 3 new things each day that we are grateful for. Then, take some time journaling about one positive thing that happened to us or a loved one over the past 24 hrs. Don’t forget to exercise for 30 min 3-5 times per week, and meditate for 10-20 minutes each day to calm the mind and promote the parasympathetic system. Most importantly we can all practice random acts of kindness (ie, sending 1 email showing gratitude to someone each day). It’s that easy!
